And so it all began...
Hello , I am a photography and dog lover, and I tell you that while training my own dogs, a German Shepherd (adopted from a litter born at a friend's house) and a German Impostor (adopted from the street) aged 8 and 6 respectively in 2025, I started taking pictures of them and well that's how this idea began.
I've been photographing people and products since 1996. I've dedicated a lot of time to social photography and industrial video. I currently work on public television, but my true passion is photography.
For many years I took landscape photography alongside and in the company of a wonderful creature that a neighbor rescued from the street, a sharpei cross that actually adopted me as soon as we met.
The rescuer told me she had been hit by a car, took her to the vet, stabilized her, and named her Muñeca. He printed her dog tag in the shape of a bone on a pink collar.
While talking to her, I grabbed her cheeks below her ears and gently pressed her face, revealing all her flaky wrinkles hidden in that blond street dog complexion, and I said to her: "You don't have the face of a doll, you have the face of a Roman Lettuce."
So we decided that he would be called "Lettuce" from now on. Apparently, he liked the idea because from the first day I called him Lettuce, he went everywhere with me.
She was a mixed-breed dog that had a scar on her throat. I don't want to imagine the conditions she was in before she escaped, because it's common for abused dogs and animals to run away at the first opportunity they find when they get free, and all disoriented, they cross streets, avenues, roads and highways hastily without any caution and end up very hurt.
That's why it's necessary to care for them as part of our human nature. We must adopt those who are homeless and contribute whenever possible to other human beings who are dedicated to helping others.
The idea is to build a community. Here begins a new story in honor of that Lettuce, who lived to old age and enjoyed life with a large family whose entire family will love her forever.
